The 18.6-year Real Estate cycle continues to move along. The US Case Shiller Home Price Index is at an all-time high. The 2 largest US homebuilders (DR Horton, Lennar) have broken monthly swing bottoms (2 monthly swing bottoms in Lennar’s case!). The SPDR Homebuilders Trust has also broken its latest monthly swing.

These all indicate that cracks have begun to form for the largest asset class in the world (land) and that we could be seeing a final peak and correction in the next 6-18 months.

This is very intriguing.

1) A Republican US President was always in power during the winner’s curse phase of EVERY 18.6-year global Real Estate cycle.

And what are some of the first things that EVERY one of these presidents has done to stir growth in their economic times?

2) Those US presidents dropped as many banking regulations as they could.

What do we have now? We have a Republican President who is trying to drop as many banking regulations as he can.
